SkyTent Alu 130 is a compact hardshell roof tent with an insulated, frame-reinforced aluminium shell. Open it measures 210 × 132 × 147 cm, a comfortable bedroom for one or two. The fabric is 280 g/m² polycotton ripstop, waterproof to 3500 mm, UV and mould resistant.
Included: winter insulation layer, anti-condensation mat, ring LED light with USB socket, solar panel with mounting frame, roof bars (2 pcs) and a one-click black anodised telescopic ladder. The mattress is 50 mm high-density foam with a washable cover.

Roof load: driving and parked are two different numbers
The tent weighs 58 kg, plus the weight of the crossbars. The roof load in your car's manual is the driving limit — parked, a different limit applies. Confusing the two is exactly why people assume a roof tent will not work on their car.
While driving
Dynamic roof load. This is the figure in the manual, and the tent plus crossbars together must fit inside it.

Static roof load. The car rests on its suspension and takes considerably more than while driving — this is where the sleepers' weight goes. Manufacturers often do not publish it.
